I eat salad like every night. This one is made from fresh greens from the garden, including some broccoli blossoms 🥦🌼 I'm harvesting a medium bowl of greens every 3-4 days from the garden, so now I'm buying half as much as I usually do each week. As everything else fills in I hope I can eliminate buying salad from the grocery store all together until fall (at least!). Happy planting!
This is Leo. Leo likes to go outside and find gross things like rabbit/deer/turkey/??? poop and roll in it and then come inside the house and show off his new poop smeared look and try to give me kisses.
Crazy gorgeous flowers blooming in my yard. The whole garden is lightly scented by all the various perfumes. The rhododendrons are so huge, the clusters are nearly the size of my face. There are a few others yet to bloom, it's such an adventure just to watch the garden come to life.
Half way through the week! Two more days to the weekend! 😜 Get ready for brunch with this potato and feta frittata with spicy red peppers! This frittata gets its kick from @mamalilspeppers which are a staple in my house. I love the combination of the sweet spicy flavor of the peppers with the tang of the feta cheese. Also did I mention this makes great leftovers??? Recipe posted.
